Davis, Lynn D. Minges and J.Keith Crisco. While in North Carolina Consul General Katherine B. Smith and Consul Monique D. Vanderpool met with Bahamian students and members of the Bahamian Community.

General Smith visits Kennesaw State University, toured the campus, visited with advisers in the international student department and met with Bahamian students at the University. The Consul General continues to visit colleges and Universities in the Southeastern United States to look at the opportunities available for Bahamian students.

Bahamian Nationals attending the Annual Shriners Conventions held in Atlanta in August 2009 were also hosted to a welcome reception at The Consulate’s official residence. They received a warm welcome from the BAHAMAS CONSULATE GENERAL ATLANTA staff that was on hand to greet and host them.
